" Failures are the stepping stones to success" ..the famous adage .. but are really failures are stepping stones to success...??? If so , why we are hearing , seeing and reading so many news about suicides everyday ????

"25 year old committed suicide , Boss scolded him in front of others"( could have reasoned with Boss)
" 14 year old committed suicide , didn't do well in exams" (at least could have waited till the results)
"22 year old committed suicide , Girl didn't accept love" ( Man there are so many other girls)
" 14 year old committed suicide , not having a PlayStation"( lot of people don't even have cricket ball to play)


All of the above specifies or shows one thing in common.. The current generation doesn't have the strength or the courage to face failure or dejection . They lack the inner strength and they are so psyched by the fear of failure or rejection.

The normal tendency of a Human Being is to be accepted and celebrate success but then why is that we are not able to accept defeat , failure or rejection is a part of life .

Simple , the way we are brought up , peer pressure and the they way so called society perceives failures ans rejects .People must understand that its OK and its normal to get rejected or fail after all nobody can win all the times nor all the people we meet will like us .

Parents on their part must ensure the child is cared and made understood that failures are OK and we will be there for you no matter what we are there for you and we will be there for you .
Friends should comfort each other saying " after all if we dint fail we don't learn " and give ample strength who has failed and make them realise there is more to life .
Children must be thought to share and should be inculcated that its all well not o have something and its happiness when we share.
Schools , colleges and universities must also counsel on how to accept failures and the ways to work around rather then admonish .
Colleagues , Bosses must treat everyone equally , if in case a chiding is needed do it in private
Most of all we should be strong and have the ability to pick up ourselves up and fight back .. " Remember Robert Bruce how he learnt to win from a Spider"....
Edison failed a 1000 times but he said he learnt he cant use 1000 things( He found tungsten filament to be used in bulbs)
Abraham Lincoln knew nothing but failures , but he is the Greatest American President ever.....

if we all try to make this mindset and challenge people who say success is only life , the future society will be mentally strong and healthy ...

Its easier said than done ..but its worth a try .

.. The Pride of the Nation.. The Army .. or is it ?? form the recent happenings iam aghast and iam dumb found to describe the scams involved with the Army . We dont have ammunitions??? Everybody was in a perception , Our Army will defeat any nation in Wars and we thought we have learnt our lessons after the defeat to the Chinese ! , but have we?? It was shocking and deluding to know that " We Have Tanks , but we cant use them because we dont have shells" . We have almost overused our arms and ammunitions and we have not upgraded accordingly and somebody wants to Invade India , it is just matter of Days !

Tetra Truck , Back bone of Indian Army .. by what is in the News it is shocking to hear and see that Hoardes of Money has been scammed ! Bribe to the Army Head , that too by another Army officer.. what is happening to US?

The above mentioned details are to be private , but then everything became public and its like we have opened a pandora's box ...!!!!!

Every other nation would laugh at us , for our state of affairs .Scams worth or should i say worth "which cant be estimated" are getting unearthed everyday . Our Intelligence is a Failure , Politicians corrupt to the core , Army devoid of ammunitions , but the common man is taxed so much but then his basic needs are not met !Well Our Country's First Lady is also in question ??? . Her entourage when she travels abroad ?? and one more news of some unconfirmed reports on Land Deals??

On oneside The Tax payer is shelling out is hard earned money and the other side the so called leaders are saving them in their private accounts ,we let terrorist roam freely on our soil , It will not be a surprise if India is inavded by another foreign force.

Our Country needs help and lot of introspection and only if we decide to correct ourselves , the country will stand a chance.

When others were throwing insults with their tongue

Change the Game !- Make All Sports Equal !

Kudos to our Women's Kabaddi Team on winning the world cup ! . The vent was held at Patna , India . It was heartening to see at least one of our national games doing well.Infact in Kabaddi both men and women are world beaters . We have won Gold medals repeatedly in the Asian games and we have always put a great show when it comes to World championship !

But how many of us know the above fact ? and how many of us realise that Kabaddi has always been a successful sport for us ???

But the Irony is in spite of being the World Champions and Gold Medalist in the Asian Circuit , we ( People of India , Sponsors ,corporates) don't take notice of these achievements . Where are the sponsors ??? The Kabaddi federation needs money to pay the players well and to spread the game to the grass root level , youngsters will definitely take up to the game , if the sponsors are willing to enhance this gold laying national games of OURS. Both men and women team need sponsors and for sure with the might of the corporates we can push this game to get a Olympic recognition .With the talent available we for sure will reap gold after gold in Olympics.

The Kabaddi Team is not even protesting like the Hockey Team for money , they carry their heart in their sleeves and they do their best while playing and they ensure we are the champions time after time . Lets give the recognition and money which is due to the World Champions.




It was heartening to see our Men's and Women's hockey team perform good after a long time , though the women's team didn't qualify for the finals , they put a up a brave show against the Mighty Africans . Kudos to the Men's team which made the par. Its been long since a Indian hockey team has played with such zest and zeal . Nice , Indded it was old Magic re-created . Lets hope they strike a medal at the Olympics.
The Hockey Teams needs to win consistently , once they start achieving that iam sure money will follow and i hope in future they don't draw a comparison with other sports and say they earn big bucks and we don't , iam sure with the victories in their hand they will reap the benefits sooner than later .

Pepsi's new ad -Change the Game is nice but then again i reiterate my point in not comparing one sport to other and claiming which is good and which is bad . If they really want to support football or soccer let them go to the federation pump in some money , make sure out league are off international standards and iam sure we can unearth many more IM Vijayans , Baichung Bhutia and sunil chetris of the future .



What we really need is an environment were all kinds of sports are given equal importance and inculcate the sporting in the hearts and minds of people through schools , colleges and corporates . Iam sure once we start doing that , we don't need to count the GOLDS with our fingers !

Reservation-Politics!

We as a Nation are going backwards , yes , i say this because of the current political and economic situation . Scams, frauds , black money and what not and all these are works of our great politicians .How come they still get elected ?? In the recent BMC elections not even half of the city voted , i presume the middle class didint turn out at all , but still one party said MUMBAI has spoken and they are loved by MUMBAI!!!

Politicians to garner votes will do everything and anything.When it comes to VOTE bank ,Minorities comes in to the picture, especially Religious minorities .The Politicians run amoc by promising the quota or reservation to the minorities is astounding and amusing at the same time. How do you define minority ?? In some parts of the country where the so called majority is a minority and vice versa!!!so how do this work ???

Iam sure our politicians are not even aware of the above mentioned fact ....

Why cant everybody be given the same treatment and lets not say any specific religion or caste or community is backward and they need reservations to come up . This might have been true some 70 years back but certainly not now , we can clearly observe that people from all walks of life are making it good. To be frank because of this reservation lot of times people who actually deserve , loose out . The Reservations are creating a rift rather than upbring a community .

The real need of the country is Eductaion , Eradication of the poverty, Roof above everybody's head , Safety and Security .Its not entirely the politicians fault its also the people's fault , people are looking for freebies rather than work hard. Lets roll out a playing level field for the citizens of the nation . Quota destroyes the society rather promote a society , lets not say any community is backward , keep your eyes wide open the so called majority is also suffering , so address the basic issues rather than fighting over trivial issues .

Guy 1: Are you planning to settle down in India ?
Guy 2: If possible will Immigrate .
Guy 1: Where would you like to go?
Guy 2: Somewhere Indian population is less!
Guy 1: ( Bemused ) Why so?
Guy 2: Indians abroad are having a spoilt image , we are branded that we are after girls , flaunting our wealth so we are under scathing attack , getting discriminated ( * quotes few other example*) and our Image in general has taken a beating , i would like to set a good example .
Guy 1: But that Happens inside India itself ? we are not united ! we fight for petty things , Kannadigas dont like Tamil , Kerala refuses to give water so is Karnataka , Mumabi wala 's hate Biharis , Karnataka and Maharashtra fight , North east is always neglected ..... *(Pauses)* why do we have so many issues and fight over petty things ?? we have this introverted mindset and we have become selfish !
Guy 2: That's because everybody sees himself from a partiuclar region and not as Indian . There is no onesness or a common cause which can unite all .
Guy 1 : This oneness can be a Language and specifically English !
Guy 2: *( Laughs)* Nah , it cant be
Guy 1: Iam from North and you are from south and the only we communicate is English
Guy 2: But how many can speak English ??
Guy 1: we can train everyone , atleast the educated mass.
Guy 2: what is the percentage of Educated Mass??
Guy 1 : Around 50 %
Guy 2: Then the rest of the 50%

Guy 2 If we cant be united by one of our own language , definitely not by a foreign Language ...
Guy 1 why cant everyone speak Hindi .. especially people from Tamil nadu ..!!!!

Guy 2: Tamil is one of the oldest language and a classical language too...
Guy 2: During Ancient times , Indians were united , they were so culturally rich , economically powerful and people were united across the length and breadth ..why????

Guy 2: Simple we had one notion of India , we had one Religion or atleast major and hardly two languages and there one was one Emperor who controlled everything...
Guy 1 : true ..
Guy2 : As time went by , people started to speak different languages , aread were divided along the languages , then came alien and foreign religions , people started to split along different religion ...
Guy 2: so it became increasingly difficult to unify people ...
Guy 1 : so you mean to say religion and language is the cause for all the problem s...
Guy 2.. hmmm..no .. but the politicians who use it for their vote banks and how the fickle minded people fall for it .,...
Guy 1.. That's right ...
Guy 2.. First educate the masses , Go back to developing Agriculture that's our prime strength , feed people , regulate water bodies , ensure adequate electricity and reasonable cost of living , this would help to a certain extent ..
Guy 1 /..but will those be alone enough,,,
Guy 2..well..that's a beginning ... lets hope people become matured soon enough ...

Price Rise

First the Price of Petrol , then now LPG and slowly the price of Diesel will be raised , infact almost all of essential commodities like Electricity , Food , Public Transport have been raised .Rupee value is depreciating everyday , consumer good prices have also been hiked . but only thing which has not got raised is our salaries:(




Petrol , Diesel and Lpg Prices are hiked saying that the Government can no more afford to subsidies the prices as the Government and the other agencies are taking a hit on their profits and they are not even breaking even . The Government is planning to limit the LPG cylinders provided to the House Holds to a 6 or 7 a year and moreover they are deliberating a scenario were the affordable' s are to pay more or the cost equal to market price which is around Rs.700/- per cylinder . Now it will be interesting to see how the Government is going to arrive who are have's and have not's , i hope it wont be shocking as the Rs.32 demarcation for poverty line ! The Diesel Prices have also increased but then its not got deregulated otherwise the Oil cos would wreck havoc and prices will go spiraling further !!!!


Then comes another scathing attack on the masses , the Government has increases the Public transportation cost , Poor people and the Middle class people are worst affected , People have stated to walk , to save money on their travel !. Well after the long walk " aam admi" comes home to rest but what happens there is no power (Electricity ) supply , its the daily routine cut , The Government ensures that this "power cut" is met even if not other basic necessacities are met and some how hopes to keep its " Power " in tact and the irony is that The Government is proposing to hike the Power Tariffs !!!! now this is like " Paying Fees for a class which we are not supposed to attend"

The above mentioned price rises have a cascading effect on every other person and product . The Transportation cost and Power Tariff increases , basic food stuff and basic commodities (essential commodities) prices increases , basic food stuff prices increases cost of living increases , because of this many house holds are going without proper meals and its becoming increasingly difficult for them to make ends meet!

The Rupee value keeps depreciating day by day because of this our loans are becoming costlier and our investments are loosing their sheen , Gold and silver prices have risen to pluto and external galaxies .... savings are disappearing just to keep pace with the price rise !!!! Hope we dont disappear with the rising prices !!!!

well is there anyway to stop these things yes , there are ways ,Good Governance and most of all Bring back the Black money and please ensure people who have swindled tax payers money are made to pay and ensure no more scams . If the Money which is stashed in various foreign banks by our hot shot corporate honchos and big shot , good for nothing politicians is brought back to India and pumped in to the economy millions of people could be fed for free without a problem and all the essential commodities prices would come down. Scams !!! stop them and the money the scammers have swindled cannot be counted by two super computers !!! please ensure that money is accounted for and ensure it is pumped in to the economy and NO INDIAN will be affected by poverty and price rise ever again !

Revival of Test Match Cricket

When the Head Honchos were deliberating the Future of Test cricket , i always thought that it would survive and infact it will evolve as a whole new challenge. Ad mist all these T20's and 50 over matches it is clear that the Test matches are indeed testing a Players skill , temperament , attitude and character to the core .

Test Matches were said to be dead because of the crowd response were very poor but look at the recently concluded test series Aus Vs RSA, Ind V Windies or for that matter NZ VS AUS, the crowd response was good and infact the quality of cricket was ever improving. Gone are the days were matches were heading to a dull draw , due to the advent , especially of T20 , the pace at which the test match is played has dramatically changed. Big Fourth Innings are scores are chased down easily and bowlers have learnt and mastered various skills , they are able to handle teh nerves better in tight situations and infact they are able to bowl out opponents with much more craft and guile . The recent Test matches especially 2nd test between Aus Vs RSA , Aus Vs Nz and 3rd Test of Ind Vs Windies were very close and they wre heart warming stuff and the crowd as well as players would have enjoyed them regardless of the result .
This proves no matter in which condition a team plays , if the attitude of the team is right they can go for the win .


If we start using uncovered pitches , i guess it will argue for the Game well and the matches would be more interesting as the ball and the bat would have a equal say and the crowds will starts automatically come in as the batsmen would hone their skills as they have to bat in uncovered pitches and the bowlers have to be intelligent enough to use the conditions well .. if there is constant and fair battle between the ball and bat the crowds will automatically come and the Test Match would be the superlative form of the Game .

Dark Ages - Coming soon to India !

There is a problem which is plaguing us for quite sometime now and surprisingly nobody is even bothered about it or is it they think that the problem would solve itself ??? Nah , unless we ensure some steps are taken iam sure we would return to the dark ages .. by that i mean no Tv , no Laptops/ Mobiles , no Pc 's/ Ipads etc even radio NO more industrial Units or factories and we are going to return solely to agriculture and all the built house would be razed for cultivation!!!!!..Hmmm... am i kidding??? no absolutely not, does that mean no electronic gadgets would be available in India or the big industrial companies are shutting shop or the small cos are bankrupt ! NO , NO No Not at all , Its simple we are running out of electricity ...YES! Electricity !!!!





Our Nation solely depends on Thermal Energy , Unfortunately we are running short of coal ( The Electricity which is produces using coal is called Thermal Power) !! Our Country is not able to produce the desired output , the reason shortage of many many things and the slack in the Policy making and yes Of course Red Tapism! and the Private companies like Reliance , Adanis etc etc came in to picture depending on the coal from Indonesia ( Indonesia once exported coal at a cheap rate ) but the Indonesian Government have issued stern warning to the Coal Cos to revise the prices up to International Standards, because of this the Private Cos are struggling with the Spiraling cost and are falling well short of expected production .




Turning to the Hydel Production .. we mustn't have a problem since we have a lot of rivers and that's one of the cheapest means of producing power ..but we are not able to implement the same why ...simple Red Tapism , Protests from various environmental groups saying building of dams will displace many lives and construction of hydel projects would create harm to flora and fauna .



Nuclear Energy .. Ha! The Future!!! But is it safe??? its a 50:50 gamble they say .Some safe its very unsafe will harm millions of life if something goes wrong , some say its the way to the future , many say if Japan could struggles , we would not definitely cope up with any calamity if it happens , already our Nation is the poorest in Public safety ( The recent AMRI Incident at Kolkatta is a prime example). Few say , If Germany can do without Nuclear Power so can we!!! but are WE and Germany Same????? Ask this question a million times ! and for the million time the answer would be a BIG NO!

So what is the solution ?? Hike the rates so that every one suffers! and Cut the Power for 6-8 hrs a day ! Make people to Force immigrate to other countries!!!

I have bought enough candles to last till my family survives-- Have you?????

The Ancient world ! The Mighty Greeks! The Brave Romans! The Fertile Crescent , Culturally and Intellectually Rich India , Arabia Fellix , The silky China ! . All these countries were a treasure trove of Knowledge , Wealth , Culture . They were all known for their Great Warriors as well as their sea Faring Traders ! Silk went all the way to Greece from Asia , Spices , Ivories and Precious Stones all the way from India to the European Elite .



Spices , especially from Cinnamon from Arabia Felix ( Modern day Yemen ) went to the European markets , The Greeks and Romans were mighty and known for their war fare and for producing great scholars .Persia , Vast and rich because of the trade and renowned for their Art and Architecture.

The present world.. Once Mighty Greeks are submerged in Debt the while country is crumbling , Indians are at loggerheads among themselves , caste-ism , communal ism , corruption etc etc are plaguing their society , rich Yemen (Arab Felix) is no more happy , The ruler has plundered the county to such an extent , people have become poor and its become a haven for terrorist . Modern Rome ( Italy ) has its share of economic problems , The Lesser said about fertile crescent ( Middle east and north Africa) is better . All of the Countries which were once rich and powerful have crumbled and are plagued by some problem or the other.

Its amazing that none of the Ancient world Superpowers are nor superpowers anymore and why is that they are ravaged by debts , unemployment , corruption and so many other social and political problems???

Is it because of the People ? Is it because of the wars? Is it because of their Trade? Or is it because of some other reason???
The Ancient world was prospering and evolving , wars were fought , People died but then there was Honesty , Bravery and most importantly Respect for each other and comradeship .But the Modern world is widely slit mainly by two things or rather three things and it hurts deep as everyone could see it..they are 1) Oil , 2) Religion , 3) Greed .

All the above mentioned things has made man to loose his man and he become eccentric and the desire to be in power has made him exploit his own people , supress who oppose him and oppress who are against him ! People have respect for each other , they are ready to backstab each other and Religion is creating such a deep divide which is un-repairable . The Modeen Day villain Oil .. !!! Oil , Oil , Oil countries are at war for Oil and oil in turn takes religion as shield and also vice versa and ensures world is always tore part !!! Money is the magic word , it ensures greed stays in man , ensures poor is becoming poor and rich swindling all the wealth and Man is ready to kill another fellow being to make money ! Man is after all a monkey who is evolved and so he is going after another evolution called Money which doesnt differ from Monkey by much!

I expect a Miracle to Cure this Curse!Will the World Be Saved ? Happen?
