Transcend!

My thoughts transcend on just the thoughts of you,
My mind transcends when it thinks of you,
My heart transcends when I catch glimpse of you,
My love transcends me,
But i'm lost on how to convey it to you.
You are a bright light,
I wish to be a mere shadow, so
That I transcend all the obstacles, to be with you

I’m a mere mortal, but the love I have for you transcends my immortal soul.
My soul will prick itself to numbness,to know
That you don’t reciprocate.
It will become numb and it won’t feel anymore,
My heart will beat,
My eyes stare in to oblivion,
I will still breath,
But then I will be a man who has lost his love
And his soul, to live like a dead tree,

Awaiting your caress,
Awaiting your whisper,
Awaiting your sight,
Awaiting your care,
Awaiting your warmth,
I'm sure, all these will transcend me,
In to the realm of eternal love.
