Search!

I'm the one whom you are searching for
I'm the one whom you are looking for
I'm the one, I'm the one, whom you are looking to love
Its my love you are yearning for
Its my caress you are longing for

You have been looking at all the places,
You have been searching for a long while,
But, have you found what you have been earning for?
Have you found what you have been longing for?

It’s easy to find my love,
Just take a deep look in to your eyes when you look into the mirror,
Touch your heart and feel its beat
Feel your thoughts which run deep to your heart

My love is just a whisper away
All you just need to do is to take a look unto yourself
And show me a sign that you have found the love that
You were looking for

I'm the one whom you are searching for
I'm the one whom you are looking for
I'm the one, I'm the one, whom you are looking to love
Its my love you are yearning for
Its my caress you are longing for

Transcend!

My thoughts transcend on just the thoughts of you,
My mind transcends when it thinks of you,
My heart transcends when I catch glimpse of you,
My love transcends me,
But i'm lost on how to convey it to you.
You are a bright light,
I wish to be a mere shadow, so
That I transcend all the obstacles, to be with you

I’m a mere mortal, but the love I have for you transcends my immortal soul.
My soul will prick itself to numbness,to know
That you don’t reciprocate.
It will become numb and it won’t feel anymore,
My heart will beat,
My eyes stare in to oblivion,
I will still breath,
But then I will be a man who has lost his love
And his soul, to live like a dead tree,

Awaiting your caress,
Awaiting your whisper,
Awaiting your sight,
Awaiting your care,
Awaiting your warmth,
I'm sure, all these will transcend me,
In to the realm of eternal love.

Pilgrimage -But Why?

Sanathana Dharma ,has been in existence from time immemorial and from its scriptures, we understand that not one place ,but many places are considered as holy sites for Pilgrimage for the followers of Sanathana Dharma and in fact each of these places are mystical in their own sense , with their own uniqueness , splendour and charm.

From the Himalayas to the Cape Comorin(Kanya Kumari) , if you consider only India( The realms of Sanathana Dharma encompasses China,Tibet,Nepal,Srilanka and if you are keen follower of history , you will understand that the “Sanathana Dharma” extended from Present day Afghanistan to Vietnam at one point of time), there are holy sites spread across this holy land ( karma Bhoomi –It’s the other name for Bharatha Kandae) and each one has its own purpose in the path of salvation of Human Kind.

Up North, Mount Kailsh, Pashupathinath temple are situated at one of the most inhospitable terrains and then comes temples like Parthasarathy temple, down south which is situated at one of the most hospitable terrain and the access to the place is quite simple .Lets name some of the abode in mountains.Vellaiyangiri, Chaturagiri, Tirupathi, Paruvathaa Malai, Pasupathinath Temple and Of course Manasarovar and Mount kailash. The places near the mountains Haridwar,Kasi,Badrinath, kedarinath. The sites beyond the sea like Rameshwaram .In fact most of the rivers are considered sacred like Ganga, Yamuna , Saraswathi, Krishna , Cauvery and the spot of confluence of the rivers .Then the sites at the boundaries of this holy land like KanyaKumari,Tannot Mata. Then the Temple towns of Kumabakonnam , Madurai, Srivilliputtur, Puri are renowned too.All these sites were through thick forest as well and it was quite treacherous to reach all these places.

It’s astounding our ancestors were able to visit all these places without the modern machinery and they lived to tell tales .It’s no mortal feat to reach mount Kailash as well to visit Rameshwaram in those days but yet our forefathers did!

The question is why is that different kinds of terrain, geography, demography were chosen as holy sites?? And why did they go through all this exotic pilgrimage? Is it only for religion??This is not the case with any other faiths in the world and every place throws us a challenge while visiting them. We should wonder, why that the Holy places associated with this esteemed Dharmic religion ranges from the most hazardous mountains encompassing rivers to the most serene of the lands.

Man, from time immemorial would become habituated with his usual life; he would be comfortable with the surroundings around his home! So when would he or she visit the vast world around him and understand life is so much more than his usual grind??

Those places tested the beings and our inner-self to the most, right from the physical endurance to the mental stamina on how to cover the distance? How to climb the hazardous mountain? How to breathe when there is less of Oxygen? How to cross a furious river??, Those journeys thought him the will to control himself , make him have faith and to make him march towards his goal , the complete control over his senses and to make him understand there is so much of nature around us , to inspire him his inner -self to live with nature, with absolute self control , to become one with nature .The Physical endurance would shape his body and mind as well , there is always a struggle to reach a goal but when he reaches it , he would find absolute bliss.

To make him understand , there are lot of different people in the world , from different strata of society but when they travel to these places , all the different minds become one , their struggles are the same ,they shared their strength ,they shared their faith and most of all they shared their humanity and together they reached their goals. They were though to respect each other live harmoniously as a society .All men and women in this world are equal and by undergoing these journeys they realize that the purpose of the inner-self and the life is not only to keep them well , but Keep the world around us well and to make everyone realize their inner-self to attain salvation.

Married: To Be or Not To Be

That time of life, every man “that age” is thrown this question, when are you getting married? Do you have someone? Well, all good matches are already "taken" by the time they enter the corporate world :( (we never knew that we must book our matches very early like reserving a kindergarten application while the mother is still carrying the child) you are getting old, no girl will accept you (if the eligible bachelor doesn’t have that “some one”)? Some assume that you are running scared of responsibility!!!!(Man!As,though the married men never “lies” and are always “responsible”.

Once you are past those 29-30 years of age,you observe, your parents scramble like fighter jets (faster than them) and make sure all the other relatives are scrambling as well in order to find you the perfect match! Their phone (Technology is a bane) rings off the hook and all the conversations revolve about how a perfect match is this and how that match was close!

The match making criteria is getting tougher than CAT and IIT exams these days. The criterion for entering in to the “market” are many (listed few here)fair, handsome, tall(does it stop with that…na O_O) earning around 1 lakh a month with own house, bike and car having a UK work permit or at-least an US H1B and the "boy" should be just 26-27( Oh my God ! The guy should be having a currency printer at home and print money and the required visa on his own, that’s the only way he will fall in to the criteria). If the eligible bachelor falls in to the “bracket” as expected then comes the second round (tougher than most HR rounds) that the guy’s parents shouldn’t be with him and he must not have sisters, even if he has, only minimal relationship/contacts to be maintained. If somehow you get through the first two rounds then comes the final negotiations( Salary negotiations are easy!) that the " expected" match may or may not work and about how important is to share the house hold responsibilities( later we find out our job is only to "hold" the house hold and our work becomes part time).

Once you join the work (as husband, of course!!) you will never realize how great you are or were at multitasking, giving excuses and how efficiently you transform into various avatars right from a chauffeur to cook(Your Mom's face will express surprise and shock! You in Kitchen!!did you know where the kitchen was when you were "only" my son!) with élan and elegance. Meeting up and partying with friends becomes a dream .Watching and playing your favourite sport becomes a fantasy .Coming home late and talking on phone to someone at odd hours requires “permission”.Eating out and watching a movie is a crime if your better half doesn’t know about it and you will be made to stand outside (this is not a school) as punishment, sometimes your rations are cut (poor fellow he has no other choice other than to eat his own preparation). If he has Kids! It’s Game Over!

Married men think that single guys feel out of place when they get together, but for him it's funny how these matched men want to live like a single guy but speak that they are “very happy now“.For them the single guy becomes the coolest, they start envying secretly on seeing how the single guy enjoys his life.

Single guys knows marriage is an option and they can very well exercise other “useful options “,Without wondering will he ever fall in to the "bracket" or about how he can enter the market. He is adventerous, always a Go-to guy when friends need him.Single guy does what he wants, how he wants and more importantly when he wants! He can be a pauper but he still, lives like a King, with his never leaving friends to his calling,he cares for his family and responsible enough to lead a single carefree life!He can be a kid again, if he wants too, regardless of his age!

Well you decide, Married: To be or Not to be

The Bard @ 450

Its been 450 years since The Bard has been born,History says he has left us long ago!but, has he?

“All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven age”

The above are famous lines of the Bard and how simply they reflect they reflect the life of humans on earth. We just play our parts and leave! Yes, we ordinary mortals leave this abode called earth but The Bard “Sir” William Shakespeare (He definitely would have got knighted for his service to the English Language) did he leave? , How can he leave? He is a true Immortal! His Plays, Poems, Songs and Words are entrenched so deep in us; in fact, they have become an integral part of our lives. This was a man who redefined the way we speak the Language, One Man , One Pen, Many incarnations!

This was a Man who bought love, anger, lust, revenge, care, kindness angst alive by his mere words. His gave us great examples of Friends, A King, A leader, A lover and more important how to be a Good but a humble and honorable human being. He portrayed and conveyed effectively how the fickle minded Human behaves when he is faced with adversities and with success.

His words reverberates across the world, in fact few of his stories are happening around the world one good example is from Macbeth, where he would be cursed that he would be killed when the Forest Moved, this could be the first Guerrilla war fought!

Another Famous line from the Play Tempest

“Hell is empty and all the devils are here”

The above is so relevant in today’s world. He was a man who conveyed the future in his plays, he was a man who saw how different emotions play havoc on human minds and he was a man who saw how hunger for power would ruin a man and woman as well.

He was not only a great writer but his stage innovations were well known, he, who created the Circular stage had all the audiences in mind. He ensured all his audiences were enchanted and enthralled by his works and they had something to relate to their lives from his plays.

His work spoke for him, im sure, if he was alive today he would have won multiple Oscars for story , Screenplay , Direction, Cinematography, acting ( If I may add) and would have won multiple Grammy’s for his song in Various genre ( Pop, Rock , Hip Hop , Rap , Love Ballads and what not) .

He would have added Palm d’or and even the Golden Globes!
He would have minted billions but im sure he would have remained humbled by remembering his lines from

A Midnight Summers Dream

“Lord, what fools these mortals be!”

It was privilege to have been to his birth place and to have visited those places where he lived his life and where he ensured he would live an immortal life.

The Bard would keep living forever and ever in our lives, in our hearts and in this world and someone would write an Ode to him at his 4500 birthday!

“We know what we are, but not what we may be.”

Let me Know, Let me Know....

Let me know, let me know,
If iam the one for you,
I wish you would be the chord in my music,
I wish you would be my grace in my dance,
I wish you would be the life in my words ,
I wish you would be the rhythm in my song.

Let me know, let me know,
If im the one for you,
I wish you would be the music to my ears,
I wish you would be the light to my eyes,
I wish you would be the only thought in my thoughts,
I wish you would be the only emotion I feel.

Let me know, let me know,
If iam the one for you,
I wish you would be the voice of my mind,
I wish you would be the beat of my heart,
I wish you would be the soul in my life,
I wish you would be only the story in my story,

Let me know, let me know,
If you feel the same….

Problem Of Plenty -India's Surplus Food Grains.

The Nation which is rich yet poor

As a Nation , India , is always striving to be rich and Indian is still branded as “Developing” country .More than half of the population lives under the poverty line, Indian doesn’t have the ration to feed the kind of population leaving in Poverty or to put it in other words who can’t afford one of the of basic amenities of life If ,as an Indian introspect and ask these following questions i)Are we a Poor Nation? Do we really don’t have the ability to feed our own people?
One of the primary products of India is Food grains, then how do India still fall short of Feeding its own people? Do we export all that we produce? Or exactly what happens to India’s Produce?
India’s Produce and Export
India has produced 255.36 million tonnes of food grains during 2012-13 as compared to 259.29 million tonnes during 2011-12(Production of rice is likely to be 104.22 million tonnes. Wheat production is likely to be 93.62 million tonnes.) India looked at exporting 40 million tonnes of shipment of rice and wheat.**
We can safely assume that the rest of the produce is actually for local consumption and storing for the times of need. The remaining food grains should easily suffice to alleviate the hunger for the Indian population

Local market and Consumption

Various Varieties’ of Food grains priced according to their grade are available at Local Shops, Super Markets which caters to the ever bulging urban and rural population. The urban population with a good chunk of disposable income consumes the finer qualities of grains.
The state Governments across India subsidise food grains according to the grade and variety and makes it available for the common man through various fair price shops. Few States are even distributing a Kilogram of Food grains at Rs.1/- which, from our perspective should place food at the lap of the poorest of the poor. In some States the Government ensures noon meals are served at Public schools so that it will encourage the local population to send their children to schools.
All in all, the pictures looks good and we may assume that India manages its produce well and it reaches people off all strata of society.

Dark Reality

In reality, the Food grains don’t reach people, to whom it must reach necessarily.
“Every day some 3,000 Indian children die from illnesses related to malnutrition”**
A government-supported survey published earlier this year found that 42 percent of India's children under 5 are underweight; almost double that of sub-Saharan Africa.**
The above lines clearly depicts the state of affairs in India and especially how poor people have been left to fend for themselves
Country like India ,in which Agriculture is a major source of revenue , it must have a great and flexible system for producing , procuring and storing the produces but unfortunately it falls short across the spectrum especially in having good storage facilities.
“So what actually happens to the tonnes and tonnes of produce? The answer is simple; they “ROT”, because of the lack of proper storage facility, the grains rot. They are untouched for years and years and they just go to the dumps.
Who’s at fault?

Right from the top most Government official to the common man. The government officials are just turning a blind eye to the millions and millions of food grains getting wasted. The common man is not raising his voice so that he can help the poor and hungry to get what is being wasted.

“It is an extraordinary paradox created by a rigid regime of subsidies for grain farmers, a woeful lack of storage facilities and an inefficient, corruption-plagued public distribution system that fails millions of impoverished people”.**
The system is so corrupt and rigid that these grains are neither open for local consumption nor open for export despite a need for income from exports to reduce a record current account deficit.

The food ministry is pressing the government to increase exports, but India's creaking transport system means that a large portion of grains will simply not be able to get to ports even with global prices jumping a fifth last year.
There is also problem of creaking transport system which hinders the transportation of food grains for local consumption and for exports. The Port congestion is also adding to the exporters woes as the grains have to wait for some time, this adds extra time and cost to the exporter’s pocket.
This situation continues even after the Supreme Court has ordered to distribute the excess grains for free for the poor and needy.

What can be done?

• Build grains warehouses and silos and leave supplies exposed to rodents and the weather.
• Effective and Efficient Distribution of excess food grains to poor and needy
• Flexible and non-corrupt Government policies and officials
• Able transport system aiding in local distribution and exports.
Simple but well planned things like stated above makes a big difference. India must wake up to the reality and address the issues as soon as possible, otherwise as a Country it fails to protect its population from one of the basic malaise of life called Hunger and Poverty , in spite of having all the tools in aiding to avoid them.

Indian Origin-Achievers

Vinod Dham , Vinod Khosla , Sabeer Bahtia , Shiv Ayadurai , Sathya Nadella, Sundar Pichai, Pranav Mistry all are of Indian Origin and achieved big in the New World.

Congrats and Kudos to all these people :).Lets keep him mind what these people had to sacrifice to achieve what they wanted, sometimes they would have gone against the whole world.

They pursued in what they believed and achieved things which were to drastically change the life of Mankind or rather how we live in today’s world.

They were encouraged to pursue what they wanted from the outset, their friends and family backed them up , their adopted “country” gave them the environment to thrive and prosper.

Imagine the above mentioned people working in “Information Technology” as something and those brilliant ideas they possessed would have gone to waste. OMG! That would have been atrocious.

It would be interesting to ask, if the people mentioned above, have been in India, would they have achieved, what they have achieved today?
Some people would say a yes, some people would say a strong a “NO”.

It’s interesting to Analyse the NO’s.
The support for these people to pursue what they wanted emanated from their respective families. How many of the Indian families would encourage the children to risk it all?? Very few!

All the Indian middle class families expect their kin and kith to finish “:Engineering “ and to take a job which pays a sufficient sometimes more than sufficient salaries , get married and have kids and again the cycle starts.
Look at all the achievers, their dreams were intact when they finished their school or college and then they were encourage to innovate and invent and the community around them as well encouraged them to be as they are and to shape up their own dreams

Our Educational institutes and work places are challenging enough even to make a sane man go insane .People coming up the ranks is a big challenge. One has to pass through various hurdles like religious, language, regional favoritism and even if they do, Bosses are always right!! Aren’t they??

If someone‘s is bold and flamboyant enough to speak out or question, that person is the first on the “Hit List”
Even the best of the creative minds are stifled. No wonder “Indian Origin” People are going great guns elsewhere.

Let’s foster an environment where any dream and anyone can win regardless of who he is or where he is from:)
We have enough people working in “Information Technology”, let’s innovate, invent or do something that we like :).

Last Dance

Some dance to remember, some dance to forget
But I danced with her, hoping it would be eternal
Mesmerized by the way she caresses
Enchanted by the way she sways

When we danced,
Heart earns for her whisper
Soul earns for her touch
Close to her, I ask myself, is it just a dance?
Or,Is it something else?
Lost in a trance, engulfed in love,
Thought this would blossom in to a beautiful spring.
Thought her eyes conveyed her love to me,
Her lips were professing her love to me,

But, it was not to be,
Time made me to realize
Her heart and thought were not mine
I was just a passing cloud.
For her, it was all nothing but a dance,
For me, it was nothing but the Last dance.

Some dance to remember, some dance to forget
But I could never forget the dance.

Confess

Oh Girl! I know you love me!
I can see it in your eyes!
I can feel it in your speech
I know why you avoid me,
It’s because my eyes will make you confess your love for me

Even when you don’t want to be near me
I just can sense, you are in to me
I just can feel, we are on to something
Just waiting for you to join me
Just open up
And give it up to me

Oh girl! Baby Girl! You are my dream
You are the one inside me
I’m just waiting to hear those words from you
Confess those magic words!
That will make you mine
That will make my love eternal for you

why restrict yourself?
when your heart earns for me!
when your thoughts play around me!
Let’s be together
And celebrate the magic!!!

My Heart Beats for You!

My heart beats for you,
Only for you.
My eyes searches for you,
Only for you.
I think of your name and
Only your name.

My heart gets shredded in to pieces,
On the thought of you leaving me.
My body becomes numb,
The moment you leave me .
Nothing makes sense to me,
If I don’t see you.

Your love makes me, what iam
I realize that im just a puppet,
In your hands.
Without you, im nothing but a
Man without his soul.

My heart beats for you,
Only for you.
My eyes searches for you,
Only for you.
I think of your name and
Only your name.

Charles Darwin and Dasa- Avatharam of Lord Vishnu(Ten Incarnation/Dus Avatar)

Charles Darwin the great scientist after years of re-search published is "Evolution Theory“,this was a major breakthrough in the field of science. His theory challenged the basic understanding of living organism in the world during his time . Every scientist,Ever great thinker was challenged by this theory and in fact it’s a well known fact , The church that time even when to an extent of ex-communicating him.

All Credit to Darwin, without him, we wouldn’t have Theory of evolution, which paved way for much more discoveries and clear understanding of living organism around us.How man evolved to his current state.

Something was intriguing me for a long time, well , In Sanathana Dharma (Hinduism),which is prevalent in India and at one point of time most of ASIA,we celebrate a festival called Dhussera or Navrathiri depending on the region you belong in India.Down south of India, the festival is celebrated with Dolls arranged for 10 days and various pooja’s performed at various times.

The dolls which are arranged depict an event, a sequence of events or a personality from Hindu Epics, Vedas, and Upanishads. The most interesting are the set of dolls called “Dus Avatharam” which symbolized or symbolizes the “TEN INCARNATION “of Lord Vishnu in order to save the planet from harm.

If we take out the mythological or religious connotation, we can evidently relate the “Theory of Evolution “with the “Dus Avatharam” or the “Ten Incarnation” in correlation with how living organisms and man evolved. We can be amazed how even 1000 years before Darwin,Hinduism or Sanathana dharma started correlating science with religion.

1. The First Avatar: Macha Avatar (Fish Incarnation)

The first organism was formed in Water as per the theory of evolution and here too the first avatar is from the water. Lord Vishnu took the form of Fish to safeguard the planet.

2. The Second Avatar: Kurma Avatar (Tortoise/Turtle Avatar)

The second stage of evolution, organisms which live in land and water. Tortise/Turtles are good examples of organism which makes use of both land and water.Lord Vishnu took the incarnation of Kurma to safeguard the planet again.

3. The Third Avatar: Varaha Avatar (Wild - Boar Avatar)

The evolution of animals which survives on solely land, we can always challenge that Dinasours evolved much before the animals of what we have today and why are no correlations to Birds mentioned.
Those days depictions had to simple and at the same time make a precise impression on the listener/learner and so they generalized the land animals and birds.

4. The Fourth Avatar: Shima Avatar (Half Lion-Half Human Avatar):

Organism with thinking capability evolved but they were partly animals as well (Animals with the advanced thinking capability) . This was depicted as Simha – Half Lion –Half Human which can thin but possessed animal qualities.

5. The Fifth Avatar: Vamana Avatar (The Dwarf Human Avatar).

The dwarf humans (Homo floresiensis ("Flores Man"; nicknamed "hobbit" and "Flo") was the next in evolution. This was depicted by Vamana Avatar.

6: The Sixth Avatar: Parasurma Avatar (Early man who was crude)

Then came man, who was crude and filled with rage this was personified by Parasuram Avatar (Man with an axe, went on a Killing spree to avenge his mother’s death). It is also to be noted he was the first incarnation to have a primary weapon “The Axe”. This depicts man started to make his own tools (Iron Age).

7. The seventh Avatar: Rama Avatar: (Man who was living in Forest and in Cleared Land).

Man was evolving in to being where he had a sense of community and belonging and major cities were forming and leaders of men were evolving.Rama was master archer, if we notice carefully we observe the other major source of food and work like fisherman , boatmen and hunters were all equally present.

In Ramayana, we also observe apes, coming in to picture, which meant apes and humans were living alongside and helping each other out. The famous characters of Ramayana were none other than the mighty and holy Hanuman, Sugreeva.
This phenomenon of humans co-exiting with apes is recent scientific revelation.

Another important aspect is the engineering and warfare evolution. The way Rama's army crossed the ocean using the sethu samudram bridge and the warfare tactics along with the weapons used are really astounding.

8. The Eight Avatar: Balraman (Man who cultivates)

Man evolved in to being who can produce his own food by cultivation. This is depicted by lord Vishnu as a Balaram with a hand plough.

9. The Ninth Avatar: Krishna (Shepherd)

Man began shepherding as well; he started utilizing animals for domestic needs at the same time were enjoying bliss because of the closeness to the nature.

The most notable aspect is the warfare and the weapons which were advanced compared to the Ramayana Period. The Astras and the Chakra viyugam are prime examples of how modern the people were when it comes to warfare.

10. The Tenth Avatar: Kalki (Modern Man with all Technologies)

Well...Modern man with all his technological advances is destroying nature... Pretty soon Nature will show her fury…

Sanathana Dharma or Hinduism had advanced science interlaced with religion, once the religious facet is removed we marvel at the astounding thoughts, facts and science involved in Hinduism.
The above write up may be challenged from many angels, but then what I have tried is to link the actual reason of Dasaavtharam (Dus Avathar) without the veil of religion.

Critics are welcome and corrections are always accepted.

Never Doubt!

Never doubt that you are not in my heart,
Never doubt that you are not there in my soul,
Never doubt that my soul feel will empty without you

Every moment passes by, with nothing but your thoughts
I hold you in my eyes,
I don’t cry, for the fear you would come out.
Even in my dreams, I wish I could see you,
I don’t want to fall asleep, if you are not my dream.

Never doubt that I would leave you,
Never doubt that I wouldn’t search for your face in the crowd
Never doubt that I wouldn’t take your hand, if I find you.

Every breath is for you,
Every sense of mine is numb without you
Purpose of my life is lost
If you are not besides me

Never doubt that you are not in my heart,
Never doubt that you are not there in my soul,
Never doubt that my soul feel will empty without you
